Shipping Policy

1. Key information

• Shipping cost: Free LTL freight on every lift.
• Where we ship: The contiguous 48 United States.
• Dispatch time: Within 2 business days of your order.
• Transit time: 6 - 9 business days after dispatch.
• Delivery type: Curbside freight delivery by appointment.

2. How freight delivery works

Because a four-post lift is a heavy, palletized item, it ships by LTL (less-than-truckload) freight rather than a parcel carrier. Your lift leaves the warehouse fully crated within 2 business days. Once it is a day or two from your address, the freight carrier calls you to schedule a curbside delivery appointment. You do not need to be an expert - just be available to receive the pallet and inspect it.

3. Inspecting your delivery

Please inspect the crate for visible damage before signing the delivery receipt. If you see damage, note it on the paperwork and email us photos at contact@americanautogear.shop the same day so we can resolve it quickly with the carrier.

4. Tracking

You can follow your shipment any time on our Track Your Order page using the order number from your confirmation email.

5. Areas we do not serve

We currently ship only to the contiguous 48 states. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories or international addresses.
